Professor Helen Fulton (Director)

Helen Fulton is Professor of Medieval Literature at the University of Bristol, with an interest in the impact of humanism on the literature and book production of medieval England and Wales.

Dr Jason Harris

Dr Harris is the Director of the Centre for Neo-Latin Studies at University College Cork and an expert on Latin and neo-Latin writing in Ireland. The internationally-renowned Centre for Neo-Latin Studies focuses on the reception and transmission of Italian and neo-Latin texts and culture.

Professor Martin McLaughlin

Professor McLaughlin is the Agnelli-Serena Professor of Italian Studies at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Magdalen College. He is a leading expert on Italian Renaissance culture, its dissemination and its transmission, including humanism and translation.

Dr Stephen Parkin

As the curator for the British Library's early Italian books printed between 1501 and 1850, Dr Parkin has a particular interest in their provenance and collection history, both as these reflect English interests in Italy and its culture and in their wider bibliographical and intellectual context.

Professor Alessandra Petrina

Professor Petrina, University of Padua, is a renowned specialist on the reception of the Italian Renaissance in Scotland. She has published a major monograph on Machiavelli in the British Isles.
